COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Those who live near Dobbins Air Reserve Base should prepare for the possibility of noise in the area but should not be alarmed by what they hear.
Dobbins personnel will be taking part in routine training this week. Those near the installation should know that they may hear noise associated with the exercise.
“The activities are part of a controlled, simulated training environment that is essential to the readiness and preparedness of our force,” the 94th Airlift Wing at Dobbins Air Reserve Base said in a statement.
Base personnel assure the community that, should a real-world incident occur, the public will be informed promptly through the base’s emergency management partners
“Dobbins Air Reserve Base appreciates the community’s understanding and continued support,” the base said.
