ATLANTA — An incoming Delta flight to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport from New York City was met by police after a passenger and a flight attendant got into a fight.
The incident happened on Monday. Atlanta Police told Channel 2 Action News that a male flight attendant inadvertently struck a male passenger who was wearing headphones on the head.
The passenger tapped the flight attendant to tell him about the accidental contact. Both individuals declined to pursue charges, according to police. The matter was resolved with no further action after both parties went their separate ways.
Delta confirmed there was some sort of disagreement between the two, and police were there when the plane arrived at its gate.

Delta said in a statement to Channel 2 Action News: “Delta has zero tolerance for disruptive or unruly behavior, especially when it impacts the safety of our people and our customers. We apologize to our customers for the disruption and will cooperate with law enforcement.”
