Kennesaw State University gives all clear after armed intruder alert

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Kennesaw State University has given the all-clear after an armed robbery was reported on campus.

Students on campus were asked to seek shelter in a secure location around 5:00 p.m. The campus resumed normal operations around 6:30 p.m. It is believed the suspects fled and are no longer in the area.

There were no reported injuries.

This is the second armed intruder alert to be issued at the university in just a matter of weeks. The school’s Marietta campus was placed on a brief lockdown on Nov. 23 around 9 p.m.. The all clear was given a short time later.
