CLAYON COUNTY, ga. — UPDATE: The siblings were found safe, according to their mother.

Clayton County Police are searching for two teenage siblings who climbed out of their bedroom windows early Friday morning and haven’t been seen since.
Police responded to a home on Summercourt Drive on Sunday. Vanessa and Arthur Mathis Jr. were reported missing by their mother, who said they were last seen around 1:30 a.m. Friday in their bedrooms.

The siblings’ mother said they crawled out of their bedroom windows after being placed on punishment.

Vanessa Mathis is described as a 16-year-old Black female with black hair and brown eyes who is 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 135 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black leggings and purple Crocs.

Arthur Mathis Jr. is described as a 13-year-old Black male with black hair and brown eyes who is 4 feet 10 inches and weighs 85 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white Nike jacket and black pants.
