CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Clayton County will give away more than 10,000 free at-home COVID-19 testing kits at multiple locations on Thursday.

The giveaways will take place starting at 9 a.m. at the following locations on a first-come, first-served basis:
- Southern Crescent Stadium, 6231 Garden Walk Blvd., Riverdale, GA
- Tara Stadium, 1055 Battle Creek Rd., Jonesboro, GA 30236
- Twelve Oaks Stadium, 1587 McDonough Rd., Hampton, GA 30228

Each site will be stocked with 3,500 test kits.
“As COVID-19 numbers continue to rise and more variants are introduced, it’s important that we provide more opportunities for residents to be tested”, said Clayton County Board of Commissioners Chairman Jeffrey E. Turner. “Although there are various testing sites throughout the county, we recognize that everyone isn’t able to travel those distances; distributing at-home test kits will help to ensure more residents can get tested.”
The giveaways are drive-up and each car can receive one kit. A valid I.D. is required to ensure recipients are Clayton County residents.
