BlueStar Studios announces plans to build production campus in Forest Park

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — BlueStar Studios plans to build a state-of-the-art production campus in Forest Park on the former military base, Fort Gillem, starting in 2023.

The production campus will be on 53 acres and will offer more than 600,000 square feet of production and office space with 18 stages.

With an estimated $180M in investments, construction and development will continue in phases through 2024.

There will be six historic buildings repurposed to preserve the former Army base’s architectural legacy and also help to reduce resource and energy consumption.
