Clayton County police are investigating a double shooting incident that has left two men in the hospital with serious gunshot wounds.

Police say they were called out to the 600 block of Southside Commercial Parkway a little after 5 a.m. Thursday. The road runs just off Tara Boulevard, south of the split with I-75.
When the arrived, officers found one man laying in the grass near the road. Shortly after that, they found the second man who apparently ran to a nearby hotel with gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to the hospital. Clayton County police did not say what their conditions were.
Officers continue investigating this incident and are trying to determine what happened to lead up to the shooting.
