ATHENS, Ga. — Police in Athens have charged a teenager with shooting and killing a 38-year-old man over the weekend.

Marquise Malcom, 15, was arrested Sunday and charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a person under the age of 18 and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime in connection to the death of Carlos Harper, 38.
Officers found Harper suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on Carriage Court just after 11 p.m. Saturday.
Harper was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
