ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. — Records show Rockdale County sheriff's deputies felt the chief investigator with the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office was looking for special treatment and repeatedly mentioned his job when he was arrested on DUI charges.
Rockdale County deputies say 45-year-old Craig Scott was pulled over for speeding at about 11:30 p.m. Friday night.
Scott was clocked at more than 104 mph before he was stopped, according to a police report.

After he refused to take the roadside breath test, deputies filed an application for a search warrant to draw his blood.
The deputy wrote in the affidavit that Scott 'continued stating he was the chief investigator for DeKalb County and should be allowed to leave.'
On dashcam video, Scott is repeatedly heard mentioning his job, including one exchange after he decided not to complete the heel-toe sobriety test.
"God, please I'm the chief investigator for the DA's office, please," Scott pleads with the deputy.
Channel 2 investigative reporter Jodie Fleischer obtained the video and documents through an open records request.
She asked Rockdale Sheriff's Cpl. Michael Camp if Scott was asking for some sort of special treatment.
"It appears that he was," Camp said. "But that didn't matter at this point. [Scott] was impaired, appeared to be impaired, and was going over 100mph, so [he was] a dangerous driver in addition."
Scott was released on bond at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Rockdale County authorities say they held the car overnight and allowed DeKalb County to pick it up Saturday morning without any impound charges.
Scott's attorney, Mike Hawkins, sent Flesicher a statement that read:
"He regrets the negative publicity this incident has brought upon his family and his employer, and looks forward to the criminal justice process moving forward so he can address these allegations.”
The DeKalb County District Attorney's Office Public Information Officer Erik H. Burton gave Channel 2 Action News the following statement:
"We have recently been made aware of this situation and will follow our normal internal protocols regarding this matter."
