ATLANTA — Channel 2 Action News got a tour of the brand new Atlanta Falcons Stadium Preview Center Tuesday.
Channel 2's Craig Lucie got an inside look at the center that gives fans a hands-on feel for what the new $1.5 billion Falcons stadium will be like.
It's a chance for fans to learn about ticket prices, see a suite and take a tour inside the different club sections of the new stadium.
One of the club sections on display is the Champions Club.
"This is the club that our club seat patrons on the lower 100 level will have access to. We have amenities on every level for the season ticket holders," said Michael Drake, executive vice president of Legends Global Sales.
Michael Drake walked Lucie around the preview center, which includes a wall showing the Falcons' history.
"We've set up a preview center for us to meet with every single season ticket holder, one-on-one," Drake said.
Another area of the center includes pictures on the wall portraying future events.
"This talks about how the stadium can adjust in size based off events and the number of events in the new stadium," Drake said.
There is also a replica of the halo board which will be 5.5 stories tall around the inner ring of the stadium.
"It will be 64 thousand sq. ft. of LED and that is massive. It will be sitting up inside the stadium for everyone to see from any angle," Drake said.
Falcons' President and CEO Rich McKay addressed the new ticket pricing saying he believes the PSL's, or personal seat licenses, will be affordable.
"With 13 price points, we would hope so. They are priced from $500 up to $5,500 with the average price of $2,500 and that's what approval process was today," McKay said.
"We spent a lot of time was making sure where pricing is at, that it is not pricing everybody out of the building," Drake said.
The preview center is located off Northside Parkway. They are hoping people will not shy away from the ticket prices and come to the center to learn about all of their options, including financing.
