CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. — Carrollton police said a 4-year-old girl who was kidnapped early Sunday from a hotel has been found safe in Mississippi.
Police said Raven Burton was taken by Rodricus Deonta Burton from a Rodeway Inn on Centennial Road around 5 a.m.
She was found safe in Mississippi hours later. Details about her rescue have not been released.

Rodricus Burton has no legal rights to the child and has a history of domestic violence. Police believed he was possibly headed to Louisiana. It’s unclear what Rodricus Burton’s relationship is to Raven.
