ATLANTA — Someone in Georgia is $1.2 million richer after winning Monday’s Fantasy 5 lotto jackpot. The lucky ticket was sold in Savannah.
Locally, there were two big-sized Powerball jackpot winners. One lucky player won $50,000 from Monday night’s drawing and another person in Roswell selected the power play and won $100,000.
On Friday, a person in Locust Grove won $10,000 in that night’s Mega Millions drawing.

Lottery winners in Georgia have 180 days to claim their prize. All the proceeds from each lottery game goes toward education in the state.
The next Mega Millions drawing is Tuesday night from the Channel 2 studios in midtown.
