ATLANTA — Investigators are offering a reward for tips leading to the arrest of a robber who held employees at a McDonald's restaurant at gunpoint then took off with cash from the drive-through.
The man broke in, jumped the counter, covered his face with a red bandanna and held three employees at gunpoint.
Surveillance video captured the moments the man terrorized the employees, chased two men into a freezer and held a cashier at gunpoint at the drive-through window.
“Yeah, anytime somebody got a gun pointed in their face, I'm going to fear for them,” customer Carl Johnson told Channel 2’s Nicole Carr.
Police are still looking for the man who pried his way past the locked doors of the restaurant on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard Atlanta early Monday.
One of the victims reported hearing booms from the southside doors around 2:30 a.m.

The man ordered her to "put the money in the bags."
Her two co-workers were chased to a freezer before the man returned to her at the drive-through and snatched about $300 from the cash drawer.
While the victims and management declined to comment on the incident over the phone Sunday night, loyal customers say they don't know what could have prevented this.
“When someone comes into the neighborhood from somewhere, I mean what can you do?” Johnson told Carr.
An Atlanta police report describes the man as 6 feet 1 inch tall and 175-180 pounds. He was wearing all black and covered his face with a red bandanna.
Anyone with information in this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
