Rather than getting angry, Killer Mike used the incident to encourage people to check on their loved ones. The rapper, whose given name is Michael Render, said he knows who the vandal is and that he is mentally disturbed.

“I am angry and beyond upset,” Render wrote on Instagram. “With that said, I know I can fix this physical damage BUT this man’s mind is terribly broken. If u are from OKC and know his family or friends, please DM so u can get him some help.”

Channel 2 Action News is not identifying the alleged vandal or showing his picture because he has not been charged with a crime.

Several celebrities and rappers praised how Killer Mike handled the incident.

“Love and respect. You a real man,” Rapper Scotty ATL responded.

“I have mentally ill people inventing wild conspiracy theories about me too Fam, stay safe out there,” Rapper Talib Kweli wrote.

In February, the other location of the SWAG shop in South Fulton County permanently closed after the storefront was shot up. There is another location inside State Farm Arena.
