ATLANTA — Tis the season…to shop small.
Small businesses make up a large part of the metro Atlanta community. As you shop for those last-minute gifts, they could use your support.

Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens visited small businesses in the historic Sweet Auburn Business District on Wednesday.
It was part of “Atlanta Main Street Shop Small.”
“These small business owners are pillars of our community. They hire locally. This is where most of our employment comes from,” Dickens said.
He also visited East Atlanta Village and Virginia Highland.

• Green Flamingo Plant Shop
• DBA Barbecue, a full-service restaurant and bar
Dickens says he was a small-business owner for 10 years.
He owned a furniture store.
