ATLANTA — The Grant Park Conservancy is asking for donations after severe thunderstorms from earlier this week caused significant damage in and around the park.
The historic Milledge Fountain sustained plumbing damage and its fence was destroyed.
A total of 21 trees were either toppled or damaged in the past week due to storms, according to the conservancy group.
Flooding has also been an issue, according to park officials.
