ATLANTA — If you want a chance to see the Atlanta Falcons get ready for the beginning of the 2021 season and were contemplating getting a COVID-19 vaccine, Saturday might be your day.

The Falcons are holding an open practice Saturday afternoon at their home stadium and are encouraging fans who haven’t been vaccinated to get their shot.
The team announced Thursday afternoon they will offer the Pfizer vaccine for any fans with a ticket to the open practice.
They’ll be giving out the shots on the 300 Skybridge. Vaccines will be available from the time the doors open at 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.

The team is asking fans to purchase tickets for the practice. They are $5 and all proceeds will go to the Emory Research and Discovery Program.
Ticketing for the practice are available on the Atlanta Falcons website.
If you come to the stadium, the Falcons are asking everyone to please observe their “clear bag” policy on personal items being brought inside.

Among the scheduled events:
- Falcons Head Coach Arthur Smith will talk to the fans
- Freddie Falcon and the Falcons cheerleaders will be their along with the Falcons drumline
- Family-friendly fun for fans to see each other and get ready for the upcoming season.
The Falcons will kick-off the preseason with a game vs. the Tennessee Titans, Friday, Aug. 13 in Atlanta. The regular season starts Sunday Sept. 12 when the Philadelphia Eagles will visit Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
