ATLANTA - Atlanta’s Clark Atlanta University received a huge gift from NBA legend Charles Barkley.
In honor of Giving Tuesday, Barkley announced he would be donating $1 million to the historically black institution.
“We are delighted to receive this generous gift from Mr. Barkley,” said Clark Atlanta President Ronald A. Johnson, Ph.D. “This gift reflects Charles Barkley’s tremendous heart and his desire to make a significant, positive and lasting difference in the lives of others. It is a testament to the importance of the transformative impact of CAU on its students, surrounding community, the nation and beyond,” Johnson finished.
