ATLANTA — Atlanta Braves fans can now buy single-game tickets at the new ballpark in Cobb County
The tickets went on sale online at 10 a.m. and in less than one minute, opening day was sold out.
Not long after, the rest of opening weekend sold out as well.
The team says, with excitement on the field and now in the new park, not to mention fewer seats to sell at SunTrust Park, demand for tickets and pre-sales are higher than they've ever been.
Opening day at SunTrust Park is April 14 against the San Diego Padres.
Fans can still get tickets to the game by purchasing a season ticket 27-game pack. The team says a few of those are still available.
"It's really a mind-shift for Braves fans if you want to come to a game-- encouraging them to go online, get their tickets and get their parking early, instead of waiting to game day and just showing up," said Braves digital director Greg Mize.
The team is encouraging fans to buy parking for the games ahead of time.
