JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — An Atlanta-bound flight was potentially struck by lightning on Monday, Delta officials confirmed to Channel 2 Action News.
The flight, which took off from Jacksonville on Monday afternoon, landed safely after what officials called an ‘indication of a potential lightning strike on arrival into JAX.’
Stormy weather made its way through the southeast on Monday.

There were no injuries to customers or crew on the Boeing 757-200 plane, according to Delta officials.
Delta officials said the plane is being taken out of service so that it can be evaluated.
