PEACH COUNTY, Ga.. — The man accused of killing two Peach County deputies has been released from hospital on Tuesday.
Ralph Stanley Elrod is accused of shooting and killing Sgt. Patrick Sondron and his partner, Daryl Smallwood, on Nov. 6 in the town of Byron.
GBI officials said Elrod was upset about neighbors riding 4-wheelers in the area and confronted them with a weapon. When deputies tried to talk with the suspect, agents said he opened fire. %

Elrod was shot in the abdomen in the incident. He is now currently being held in the Bibb County Jail.
Elrod faces two murder charges and multiple aggravated assault charges.
