3 men guilty of killing Target store manager in home invasion

SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A jury found three men guilty of killing a woman during a home invasion as she hid in the closet and called 911.

Jonathan Banks, James Calhoun and James Sims are guilty of murder, burglary, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during a felony.

Channel 2's Tom Jones was at the Fulton County Courthouse as the verdict was read. Jones said the mother of Pamela Williams burst into tears after the guilty verdict. She immediately hugged the District Attorney.

Jones also said Sims smiled at the Channel 2 Action News camera and winked after he found guilty.

Pamela Williams, a Target store manager, was shot in the head inside her south Fulton County home in 2013.

Prosecutors are asking for life without parole for all 3 defendants. A sentencing hearing will take place before they receive their sentence.
