The driver overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle, sliding across several lanes of the highway.

A Honda Pilot crashed into the Altima in a southbound lane, according to police.

Two children were also in the Altima. A 6-month-old female was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. A 3-year-old boy was taken to Athens Regional Medical Center, police said.
