iPods Stolen From 3 Target Stores

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Thieves have hit three Target stores in three months for thousands of dollars worth of iPods, police said.

A Cobb County police detective said the thieves strike shortly after midnight. Police said they've hit the Stonecrest Target, the Target on North Druid Hills Road, where surveillance video showed a white SUV involved in the getaway, and the Target on Austell Road.

"They are not spending any time on the low-dollar items. They are taking the iPod Touch, the iPod classic and the iPod Nanos. They know exactly what they want and that's what they sweep up," said Detective Steve Gaynor of the Cobb County Police Department.
