SAVANNAH — A case that left Justin Bieber’s sister-in-law in handcuffs has reached a new chapter in court.

According to newly filed court records in Chatham County, prosecutors have moved to end the case against Alaia Baldwin Aronow, the sister of Hailey Bieber and daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin.
Aronow was arrested in February 2024 after Savannah police responded to Club Elan on Williamson Street for a reported fight involving employees and a customer being removed from the business.
Police said the incident began after Aronow entered a locked employee restroom and refused requests to leave. According to officers, a bartender later accused Aronow of removing and throwing a used tampon at her when she was again asked to exit the bathroom.
Two bouncers also reported being assaulted while escorting Aronow from the club. One employee told police Aronow grabbed and pulled his hair, while another said she hit him in the groin.

Investigators reviewed surveillance video from inside the nightclub and said it appeared to support the employees’ accounts. Aronow was arrested and charged with simple assault, simple battery, battery and criminal trespass.
Now, court documents filed Aug. 21 show the State of Georgia has entered a motion to nolle prosequi, effectively ending the prosecution.
The filing states Aronow completed a Pre-Trial Diversion Program, and as a result, prosecutors moved to dismiss the case.
The court filing also states that the charges associated with the case will not appear on Aronow’s record.
