DOUGLASVILLE, Ga.,None — A Douglasville man faces child porn charges after an investigation that began in Canada.
Police said an undercover agent with the Saskatchewan, Canada ICE Unit downloaded multiple images of suspected child pornography from a user who was identified as possibly living in Douglasville.
The investigation was referred to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, which identified the user's Stone Creek Drive address through subpoena records.
Officers with the GBI and Douglasville Police Department executed a search warrant at the home on Thursday. Agents said multiple movie and image files of suspected child pornography were located on John Michael Paschal's computer.
Paschal, 26, was charged with three counts of distribution of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
