CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Chattanooga police are responding to reports of a shooting at Hamilton Place Mall, according to WTVC.
The initial call came in before 4 p.m. Friday.
Chattanooga police Public Information Officer Victor Miller told WTVC that police are responding to reports of a person shot in the parking lot.
Shoppers said they were told to evacuate.
Police said they have one person in custody and another person detained.
We are aware of an incident at the mall and are working closely with local law enforcement as they continue their investigation.
