The gunman who committed a mass shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando is being identified by multiple news agencies as Omar Mateen.
Police have not officially confirmed the identity of the gunman.
Mateen is a U.S. citizen from Port St. Lucie, Florida and is not believed to have had a criminal record.
Approximately 20 people are dead and over 40 injured in the attack on the gay nightclub that happened early Sunday morning.
The gunman is also dead.
