Holiday bars pop up all over Atlanta

Mountain Lodge Holiday Pop-up

This holiday season, Hampton + Hudson, the community bar and restaurant in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood offering elevated pub food, craft cocktails, beer and wine, will host a Mountain Lodge Pop-up. Servers will don checkered flannel and merrily serve holiday cocktails like classic Tom & Jerry’s, Tequila Eggnog and Hot Buttered Cider with duck fat caramel. Guests can also get the party going with Rumplemintz and Fernet Menta Shotskis served up on sets of wooden skis.

The North Pole at Colony Square

Set atop Establishment overlooking 14th and Juniper Streets, The Grove Terrace will play host to a seasonal igloo-inspired speakeasy. The pop-up bar will be open to the public Wednesday through Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m. Entry is first come, first served for visitors 21 or older, and capacity is limited to 50 guests at a time.

TWO’s Tacky Takeover Holiday Pop-Up

Featuring a festive and kitschy cocktail menu, delicious bites, live music, over the top decor, and more, TWO urban licks has brought out all the stops on its expansive and dog-friendly patio this holiday season.

Martinis and Mistletoe

Join Atlantic Station for the best cocktail hour in Atlanta during an exclusive pop-up experience at The Vinyl Lounge and Sleigh Lodge. Tickets to this exclusive happy hour are just $20 and include one drink. There will be a full bar including festive martinis, energetic tunes by DJ Chika, a unique photobooth and unlimited Instagrammable moments. The event is for those 21 and over only.

Miracle and Sippin’ Santa

Time to get in the Christmas spirits! Atlanta, your presence is requested as Miracle unwraps its sixth season in the city. Miracle on Monroe returns to the Midtown Promenade restaurant Tapa Tapa and Bon Ton will once again get into Mele Kalikimaka spirit as it hosts Sippin’ Santa, a Christmas-themed tiki takeover. Opening Nov. 26, both locations will offer special holiday cocktails, a fun festive staff, and enough cheer for everyone!

Angel Bar Christmas Pop Up

A Christmas Pop-up Bar spreads holiday cheer and plenty of booze in the form of yuletide-themed cocktails. Adorned with an explosion of tinsel, ribbon, and countless other Christmas touches, From The Earth Brewing in Roswell is dedicated to celebrating in the spirit of the holidays. Please wear your ugly / tacky Christmas sweaters or outfits.

Mingle & Jingle Holiday Bar

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, especially at Best End Brewing Co. Their third annual Mingle & Jingle Holiday Bar is back and merrier than ever. Enjoy special festive cocktails, shimmering Holiday decor, a Bow Wall for the perfect Instagram, and much more.

Tiki Tango Hideaway Oasis and Foxtrot Liquor Bar

At Foxtrot Bar guests can dive into a National Lampoon’s theme bar that would make Clark Griswold proud. Featuring cocktails like the “Walley World’s Milk and Cookies” clarified milk-punch that tastes just like ..well milk and cookies and the lovingly (and perhaps appropriately) named beer and a shot combo “Where’s the Tylenol?!”.

Just a short walk across the patio, patrons can be transported to Whoville at Tiki Tango and enjoy cocktails like the “All Toasty Inside” hot buttered rum, the 44oz “Who Boot” or a “Bad Banana” holiday shot and bar snacks like broccoli cheddar “Grinch Bites” or “Whoville Feast” platter.

The Blitzen Room at Biltong Bar

Biltong Bar Ponce City Market and Buckhead Village are “Up to Snow Good” as they transform their spaces for the third annual holiday pop-up: The Blitzen Room. The restaurants will feature swanky, vintage Christmas decor and seasonally themed cocktails from Chartreuse Hot Chocolate to Frozen Egg Nog.

Holiday Social Bar on The Roof

Just inside the tower lobby at Ponce City Market, the Holiday Social Bar will welcome Roof-goers with an over-the-top experience bursting with whimsical decor and holiday drinks.

MixMas at 12 Cocktail Bar

Cocktail Bar is celebrating the season with a Mixmas cocktail menu with returning favorite “Sleigh Fuel,” a spiked coffee eggnog made with Old Grand-Dad Bourbon, plus new holiday-inspired cocktails. Reservations are highly recommended.
