ATLANTA -- OutKast’s Big Boi announced some exciting news for Atlanta music fans. The seven-time Grammy Award winner will take the stage at Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park on Saturday, April 13 -- and he plans to bring a number of his friends with him.
The hip-hop star is calling it the Kryptonite Festival. The night includes performances by Big Boi, Goodie Mob, EarthGang and Kneel’n Rey. More performances may be added closer to the show.
“Excited to light up Atlanta with some of my closest friends and collaborators, and also show out some fresh new talent at the first ever Kryptonite Festival,” Big Boi said in a release. “We gonna bring all good vibrations to our fans who turn out in our home city.”
Big Boi just teamed up with Sleepy Brown to release the first track off their upcoming debut called “Intentions.”
