• Bella Cucina opening at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta

ATLANTA - Bella Cucina, the award-winning Italian-inspired food and lifestyle brand, will open a new retail storefront this month at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta.

What started as a small café in Atlanta in 1993 by chef and owner Alisa Barry has grown into a premiere artisan specialty food brand, offering all-natural, artful foods and gifts. With an appreciation for beauty and a sensibility for classic, yet innovative flavors, Bella Cucina makes all of its products by hand in small batches in the traditional European way.

Bella Cucina’s offerings will include pestos, olive oils, aromatic savory salts, citrus spreads, Italian flatbreads and crackers, and decadent Dolci desserts, everything you need to cook and entertain with elegance and ease. A curated selection of ceramic ware and wooden utensils will also be available.

“We are thrilled to welcome Bella Cucina to The Shops Buckhead Atlanta and to be a part of their continued success as a specialty food and lifestyle retailer,” said Anneliese Reid, marketing manager of The Shops Buckhead Atlanta.

Signature items include Oprah’s list favorite Artichoke Lemon Pesto, a combination of artichoke hearts, olive oil and parmesan cheese, seasonal selections such as heirloom Piccolo Pomodoro Tomato & Basil, made with locally sourced bite-size garden tomatoes seasoned and roasted to a caramelized sweetness and then packed in extra virgin olive oil with fresh basil leaves, and Citrus & Fennel Savory Salt, a fresh and light combination of oven-dried citrus peel and fragrant fennel seeds laced with flat salt crystals imported from Europe.

Bella Cucina is scheduled to open on November 25 and will be located on Buckhead Avenue next to Alice + Olivia. Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
