CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — If you are flying out of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, pack your patience.
Though the Federal Aviation Administration has lifted a ground stop for departures at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Friday afternoon, departures are being delayed.

Airport departures are being delayed about 30 minutes due to thunderstorms, and that delay is expected to increase, the FAA said.
