Controversial mother, Nadya Suleman, shared a rare photo on Wednesday of her eight youngest children starting the eighth grade together.
The back-to-school photo posted to Instagram shows the octuplets — Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, Nariyah, Jonah, Makai, Josiah and Jeremiah — with their arms around each other, according to People.
Nadya Suleman, who now goes by Natalie, praised her children in the post for being “exceptional role models.”
“First day of 8th grade. Be proud of yourselves kids for being kind, respectful, and helpful to all your fellow peers, teachers and staff. You are exceptional role models to the 6th and 7th graders.”
In 2009, Nadya Suleman gave birth to six boys and two girls at a hospital in Bellflower, California. She was nicknamed “Octomom” after the deliveries.
According to The Associated Press, she held the Guinness World Record for most children delivered at a single birth to survive until 2021, when 25-year-old Halima Cisse gave birth to nine children in a hospital in Mali.
Suleman’s children were conceived by in vitro fertilization, according to Guinness.
