McLEAN, Va. — Two people were hurt after a fire broke out late Tuesday at former Virginia Gov. Chuck Robb’s mansion in McLean, multiple news outlets are reporting.

According to ARLnow.com and InsideNoVa.com, firefighters arrived at the Chain Bridge Road home shortly after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to battle the blaze, which had already spread through the mansion’s first floor. The flames later reached other floors and the roof, the news outlets reported.
Robb, an 82-year-old Democrat who also served as a U.S. senator, and wife Lynda Bird Johnson Robb have owned the mansion since 1973, InsideNoVa.com reported, citing property records.
Fairfax County Fire/Rescue tweeted that two people were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The agency did not release their names.

Crews are working to determine what caused the blaze, the department tweeted.
