SAN ANTONIO — Newly elected basketball Hall of Famer Tim Duncan took to social media Friday, urging fans to wear a mask or other kind of face-covering as a precaution against the coronavirus.

Duncan, who played for the San Antonio Spurs and was elected to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame on April 4, posted his message on the Instagram account of his custom auto business, BlackJack Speed Shop, KSAT reported.
“Everyone please make sure to wear a mask or some kind of cotton facial protection as we all can make a difference in the fight against COVID-19,” Duncan wrote.

The post featured a photograph of Duncan sitting in an automobile, wearing a custom made BlackJack face mask, KSAT reported.
