A driver was cited by Minnesota State Patrol officers after being pulled over while watching “Law & Order” while behind the wheel.
The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was watching the long-running drama on his phone, troopers said on social media.

State troopers are conducting increased distracted driving enforcement in preparation for a recently passed law prohibiting drivers from using cellphones, except in hands-free mode.
That law goes into effect Aug. 1.
