ACWORTH, Ga. — Take a trip to the beach without leaving the Atlanta area this weekend and check out some of the top athletes in the world.
Lake Acworth Beach is hosting the 2013 MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour. The sport's top competitors will be catching air, riding the rails, hitting crazy tricks and even wiping out from time to time.

Friday's events feature qualifying rounds and are free to attend.
Tickets to Saturday's event are $7 if bought online, $13 at the gate. The day includes the men's and women's finals and the Polaroid Action Big-Air Kicker contest with the sports superstars hitting new innovative tricks that they don't even attempt in the regular competition.
A massive block party in historic downtown Acworth follows the action Saturday night.
