DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police said a pedestrian was killed when she was hit by a vehicle late Wednesday.
A driver struck the woman on Covington Highway near Thicket Way, according to DeKalb County police.
Police responded around 11:45 p.m. and found the woman dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the case as a hit and run.
