ATLANTA — The WNBA Playoffs are set and the Atlanta Dream will have home court advantage for the first round.
The Dream secured the No. 4 seed with their win on Wednesday and will host No. 5 seed Washington Mystics in the best-of-3 series.

“We wanted to make sure we got home-court advantage for the first round of the playoffs, and we were able to accomplish that,” Dream Head Coach Karl Smesko said following Wednesday’s win.
Atlanta went 1-2 against Washington in the regular season.
Game 1 is scheduled for Sunday at State Farm Arena. The league hasn’t announced a game time yet. Game 2 will likely be on Tuesday due to the arena’s schedule. First-round tickets are available here.
Game 3 if necessary would take place on Oct. 1 or Oct. 2.
This will be the fourth straight playoff appearance for the Dream and the 12th overall in franchise history. The last time Atlanta advanced to the next round was 2018 when the Dream made it to the conference finals.
