LOGANVILLE, Ga. — A 15-year-old student accused of threatening to shoot up a high school is now facing felony charges.
The threat was made at Loganville High School Tuesday morning. School administrators said when they learned about the threat, they immediately contacted police and removed the 15-year-old student from the classroom.
Police searched the school and campus but did not find any weapons.
Classes resumed as normal, but many students told Channel 2′s Michael Seiden they were shaken by the reports.

“I just got scared. You know, I didn’t know if today would be the day I die or not,” student Kevin Fogh said. “Our parents texted us asking us if we were fine or whatever because they got an email about a school threat.”
A spokesperson for the police department told Seiden that all Loganville officers have had significant training when it comes to responding to active shooter situations.
Fortunately, this was not one of them.
The student is being charged with making terroristic threats.
