LAGRANGE, Ga. — Two people are dead after a shooting at the Brittany Place Apartments along Hogansville Road in LaGrange.

Chief Garrett Fiveash, with the LaGrange Police Department, told Channel 2’s Darryn Moore they received a 9-1-1 call shortly before 9p.m. Monday from a caller stating they heard multiple gunshots in the area. When officers arrived they found one person on the ground already deceased and found another person dead inside the apartment.
Fiveash says this incident started off as a small gathering that started with 4 people in the apartment.
“The 9-1-1 caller stepped out of the apartment and said that one of the subjects was acting erratically inside the apartment and then the gunfire started.”
Police say they have arrested who they believe to be the primary suspect. At this time police are not releasing the ID or the age of the victims or the suspect.
