ROANOKE, Ala. — A man accused of an Atlanta murder was arrested in east Alabama Sept. 16, authorities there say. Police described him as a “most wanted” suspect.

Ashton Reed, 29, was wanted by Atlanta PD in connection with a shooting that occured on March 31, 2019, Roanoke Police Department said.
The shooting killed one man and wounded five, Channel 2 Action News reported at the time.
Reed was arrested at the Roanoke Stockyard, where he was employed under an alias, police said.
Reed was taken to the Randolph County Jail to await extradition back to Georgia to face charges of felony murder, aggravated battery, four counts of aggravated assault and six counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
