DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. — A student at a north Georgia school was wounded on Tuesday after someone pulled out a knife.
The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office say there was an incident at Dawson County Junior High School in which one of the boys had a knife.

They say one student was taken to the nurse with minor injuries before being sent home with his guardians.
The other student who had the knife was detained by the Department of Juvenile Justice.
It’s unclear if he will face formal charges.
