GRIFFIN, Ga. — A recycling center in Griffin suffered major damage on Monday after it caught fire.
City officials say the regional center, located at 1515 Industrial Drive, was on fire Monday afternoon.

A transfer station was open in another area so citizens could still dispose of their recycling.
While they could still drop off items, the city was encouraging everyone to avoid the area.
No injuries were reported.
