ATLANTA — The City of South Fulton Police Department announced Thursday it will be “closed until further notice.”

The Old National Precinct is also the police headquarters, located on 5539 Old National Highway, College Park, Georgia.
According to the Facebook post from the department, the closing is due to maintenance issues that need to be addressed.

The department expressed the importance of safety for its officers, staff and citizens, so they decided to close the precinct.
Mirna Ivette License and Permits Unit will continue to operate during normal business hours and procedures, and applicants may visit the city website to schedule an appointment.
The department said it will release details on a reopening date in the coming days.
