SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — Another metro Atlanta community has confirmed the presence of West Nile virus.
On Tuesday evening, City of South Fulton Mayor Carmalitha Gumbs confirmed that mosquitoes in the area of Old National Park tested positive for the virus.

Out of an abundance of caution, all outdoor activities at the park have been canceled on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The county health department will be treated the area of the park.
City leaders say they will keep monitoring the situation and will update the public health guidance if needed.
