SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — A man was arrested Tuesday after Sonic location in Sandy Springs caught fire. Police said he set the fire after stealing money from the restaurant.

Sandy Springs police and fire department responded to the fire at 5903 Roswell Road at about 4:55 a.m.
Detectives determined that, before the fire, funds were taken from the Sonic and the security system had been disabled.
Investigators identified Luis Quintana as the suspect, and obtained arrest and search warrants.

He was found at his home and arrested without incident.
Police said officers recovered evidence connected to the investigation.
Quintana was taken to Fulton County Jail and charged with burglary in the second degree and arson in the first degree.
Channel 2 Action News reached out to Sonic for more details about the damage to the restaurant.
