ATHENS, Ga. — A Georgia Lottery player is $4 million richer after winning the top prize on a scratch-off ticket.

The winning 200X The Money ticket was purchased at Kwik Stop Food Mart on Highway 29 North in Athens.
The winner chose the lump-sum cash option and received $2,028,082 after claiming the prize on Sept. 21.
The Georgia Lottery said players claimed more than $38.2 million in prizes from scratch-off tickets across the state last week.
Proceeds from Georgia Lottery games help fund education programs in Georgia.
