CONYERS, Ga. — A Georgia manâs breakout hit song was the most-played song on the radio last year, according to a new report.
Teddy Swims, a native of Conyers, had a smash hit with âLose Controlâ in 2023. According to Luminate, âLose Controlâ was the most-played song on the radio in the U.S. in 2024.
Luminate published their annual year-end music report earlier this week.

According to Luminate, Swims, 32, had a 3.26 billion audience on the radio with âLose Control.â
Shaboozeyâs âA Bar Song (Tipsy)â and âI Had Some Helpâ from Post Malone and Morgan Wallen followed up âLose Control,â but those had an audience of about 400 million less.
While it topped the radio charts, âLose Controlâ ranked fourth for top songs globally. Benson Booneâs âBeautiful Thingsâ topped that list followed by Sabrina Carpenterâs âEspressoâ and Billie Eilishâs âBIRDS OF A FEATHER.â

Next month, Swims will face a stacked category for âBest New Artistâ at the Grammys. Others nominated in the category include Boone, Carpenter, Shaboozey, Chappell Roan and more.
Swimsâ sophomore album, âIâve Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 2)â debuts next Friday.
