The Tabernacle will now operate under the name Tabernacle Presented by iTHINK Financial.

Music fans have crowded the floor to hear bands, singers comedians and other acts for three decades in downtown Atlanta.

It was originally built as a church in the early 1900s before being turned into a music venue just before the 1996 Olympic Games.

The companies said the new partnership is an exciting venture to provide memorable experiences for music fans, Tabernacle members and the Atlanta community.

“This is iTHINK Financial’s second venue naming rights partnership, following more than five years with iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach. As the credit union expands into Georgia, it’s investing in a venue that’s already part of the fabric of the community,” according to a statement from Live Nation.
